Coffee-Banana Smoothie

This creamy espresso banana smoothie is not only incredibly delicious but also packed with healthy ingredients. It gives you the perfect energy boost for a productive start to the day.

Ingredients: 

  • Coconut yogurt 
  • Cocoa powder 
  • Double espresso (ideally our Mild & Aromatic) 
  • 50ml almond milk 
  • 1-2 frozen bananas 
  • 2 tsp almond butter 
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs 
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds 
  • 2 pitted dates 

Preparation: 

  1. Start by adding a generous spoonful of coconut yogurt and a pinch of cocoa powder to your glass. This base provides a creamy texture and a delicious chocolate flavor. 
  2. Next, prepare a double espresso. For the best aroma, we recommend our Mild & Aromatic espresso. Let the espresso cool slightly so it mixes better with the other ingredients later on. 
  3. Put the cooled espresso together with almond milk, frozen bananas, almond butter, cacao nibs, flax seeds, and dates into a high-powered blender. Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. 
  4. Pour the finished smoothie into your prepared glass. As a final touch, add another dollop of coconut yogurt and sprinkle the smoothie with a pinch of cinnamon and a few extra cacao nibs.
